Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are expanding our group practice with a full time (32 hours/week) Clinical Supervisor who will also offer in person and telehealth clinical services. There are opportunities to work weekdays, evenings and/or Saturday mornings.

Synergy offers supervisory support, a full benefits package after 2 months of full-time employment as well as a $2000 sign on bonus after 3 months of full-time employment. The bonus will be paid in the pay period that follows three months from your hire date.   Clinicians working 15+ hours a week are eligible to participate in a quarterly bonus program.  Synergy covers your licensing renewal fees and offers unlimited online CEU’s. Job Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision and mental health client care within our innovative wellness facility to create an atmosphere conducive to individual and personal growth for both clients and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fosters growth, oversees service delivery and supports supervisees
  • Identifies strengths and areas of growth of direct reports
  • Lead staff meetings when necessary
  • Collaborate with Clinical Supervisors to meet regularly as a clinical team 
  • Engage the team with other company departments to offer services and groups to offsite organizations that address the Emotional pillar of wellness 
  • Handle routine and emergent clinical or administrative situations as they arise 
  • Build relationships with local psychiatric providers who can serve our clients 
  • Provide clinical coverage when a fellow Supervisor is unavailable
  • Redact Supervisee’s records as needed for external requests for client records
  • Provide marketing suggestions for the Therapy team and represent Therapy Department at events as needed
  • Assist with screening, interviewing, obtaining references for all clinical positions
  • Provides training and onboarding for new hires
  • Offer creative ideas to serve the community and expand Synergy’s influence
  • Provide training and ongoing feedback for clinicians regarding records  
  • Create an environment of continuous learning within the team
  • Foster MA level Clinician’s growth through group supervision and consultation
  • Opportunities for other managerial responsibilities

Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education): 

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
  • Licensure including LICSW, LMHC, LMFT
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical supervision and 2 years management experience 
  • A record of diverse work experience
  • Clinical experience with clients from ages 5 through adulthood
  • Experience developing and implementing professional staff trainings
  • Demonstrated experience developing quality clinical treatment plans, assessments and progress notes
  • Experience implementing utilization reviews and redacting clinical records
  • Desire to work in an innovative, holistic company committed to wellness

Work Schedule:

  • 32 hours per week consisting of a minimum of 25 weekly hours of direct clinical work with clients in person or telehealth, and 7 hours of supervisory and administrative work.

  • Working on a computer and using the telephone
  • Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary:

The Mental Health Clinician will provide therapeutic services to individuals facing emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues. The Clinician will assess clients’ needs, develop treatment plans, and offer guidance to help individuals manage their emotional well being and improve their quality of life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and independently schedules caseload of clients.
  • Utilizes Electronic Health Record to maintain all scheduled appointments and completes discharge process for Outpatient Counseling clients as necessary.
  • Updates the Intake Team of any current and upcoming openings
  • Maintains a schedule and caseload of  clients as discussed upon hire.
  • Independently manages schedule and booking of client sessions.
  • Conducts initial assessments to understand clients’ needs and concerns.
  • Provides therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Develops and implements personalized treatment plans based on clients’ unique needs.
  • Adjusts treatment plans quarterly and as necessary in response to clients’ progress and changing needs.
  • Completes and submits all required documentation including session notes and discharge notes in a thorough and timely manner as outlined in the “Timely Documentation Policy.”
  • Stays current with advancements in mental health research and best practices.
  • Attends professional development training and pursues continuing education opportunities. Subscribes to expectations outlined in the discipline’s Code of Ethics.
  • Attends and participates in biweekly staff meetings. Attendance at monthly peer supervision and training times is encouraged.
  • Meets with Supervisor at agreed upon frequency to discuss cases.

Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education):

  • Required to have a Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields such as Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited college or university.
  • Clinical license in the state of MA (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT).
  • Required experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes
  • Proven ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Ability to be collaborative with other clinicians and develop creative ways to promote excellent client care
  • Proficient in the use of email and Electronic Health Record systems (Theranest experience a plus!)
  • Fully Licensed Clinicians will be credentialed with insurance panels

Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist

We have a range of offerings to support caregivers and all individuals who are committed to improving their wellness, including massage and energy healing, yoga, meditation, acupuncture, and services for emotional wellness including counseling, coaching and holistic healthcare.

Synergy seeks an energetic and experienced part time Craniosacral Therapist who offers traditional craniosacral therapy to people of all ages. The individual requires a minimum of 1 year providing craniosacral therapy services and must be available 1 evening per week and during weekdays. One Saturday morning per month a plus.
